Bereavement Ministry is here to provide support and care for those suffering loss and to help begin the process of acclimating back into life’s normal routines. Managing sickness or death is very painful and difficult but it’s a season that you don’t have to walk through alone.

Pastor Nehiel Rojas
Nehiel Rojas is an ordained Church of God minister with experience in various cross-cultural settings in the US and Latin America, having served as pastor, missionary, college professor, and hospice chaplain. He is currently retired but continues serving Christ and the church.
Rev. Rojas holds a Master of Divinity from Anderson School of Theology and a Doctor of Ministry from Houston Graduate School of Theology. He supplemented his education with a one-year Extended Unit of Clinical Pastoral Education at Saint Luke’s Hospital in Houston, TX, plus ongoing professional improvement educational experiences, mostly in the field of End-of-Life Care and Grief, for the last 23 years and has led several Grief Support group experiences at Parkgate Church. He has provided Seminars on End-of-Life Care and Grief to church leaders in Peru and Guatemala.
