We know that attending a church for the first time can be intimidating. We also know that it doesn’t have to be that way!
We know that when it comes to choosing a place to worship, you have a lot of choices. We also know that it can sometimes be intimidating and awkward to visit a church for the first time. We want your experience at Parkgate to be pleasant and painless.
What are Sundays like?
Every Sunday we seek to encounter God in meaningful worship and relevant teaching from the Bible. You’ll find plenty of friendly people who treat you like family, without judgment or criticism. Our dress code is relaxed because we are more interested in who you are than what you’re wearing.
Where do my kids go?
Care is provided all service long during both service hours for infants and toddlers. During our 9 a.m. service, we have Learning Hour classes for preschool through 12th grade. During our 10:45 a.m. service, our kids in preschool through 5th grade join their families for the first portion of service, then are dismissed to KiX Worship. Our IMPACT students are encouraged to attend service.
How’s the music?
Our music is contemporary yet reverent. We blend the latest Christian music with the best of the Christian tradition to create an environment that is meaningful to all.
What’s the preaching like?
Biblical, relevant, and engaging. Our pastor offers Christ-centered sermons, explaining God’s Word and how it relates to our lives. Click here to listen to a sermon.
Do you take communion?
We offer communion every Sunday during worship. We invite all believers to celebrate the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus by participating with us in communion.
How do you handle offering?
As a guest, you are not expected to give an offering. Offerings are made by the Parkgate Family as part of our commitment to God and the church. To help our guests feel more comfortable, we don’t even pass an offering plate. If you would like to give, we have offering boxes located by each exit where you can give. You can also give online.

On Sunday mornings, we encourage you to stop by the Information Center, located just inside the entrance. Each Sunday morning, friendly folks are on hand to talk with you and answer any questions you might have about our church. Plus as a guest, you’ll receive a free gift!
