All I Want for Christmas
Who hasn’t wanted to see God show up, to find some good news, encounter a new beginning, or find someone to believe in? Who hasn’t longed for that at a personal level and who hasn’t looked for it in our families, communities, or nations? That is not just a 2020 thing. 3,000 years ago, Isaiah and his people longed for the same things. He prophesied about the coming of God’s Messiah, Jesus. 800 years later Jeus was born in a Bethlehem manger, God’s answer to our deepest longings. 2,000 years later, Jesus is still that answer. That is the promise of Christmas and the hope of Advent.

James: A Faith that Matters
We are traveling together on a journey that has the potential to change our lives. A faith that matters is a faith dedicated to Jesus Christ and then lived out for and in the power of Jesus. A faith that is meaningful, fruitful, and impacts not only our lives but the lives of those around us.

JESUS’ LAST WORDS
A person’s last words can be pivotal, telling you who they really are and capping off the purpose of their life in one final statement. Jesus had seven last words as He was on the cross, nearing death. His last words can be a catalyst to our first steps of faith and the fuel for our ongoing life in Him.
