Dec 6, 2017The Problem with SatisfactionBy: Jim FeirtagSeries: The GiftOur world says satisfaction is found in a pursuit of happiness, but happiness is such a moving target. Christianity says satisfaction is found in a life that glorifies God, but people think that means a decidedly unhappy life. Both options seem bad, but those aren’t true options. The Bible says you can’t have one without the other. True happiness is found in the gift of Jesus, which naturally produces a life that brings glory to God.

Nov 26, 2017Lost and FoundBy: Chelsea WalkerSeries: 500It's funny that Zacchaeus' story is widely remembered only for being the theme of a children's song. It's so much more than that! Nov 12, 2017Christ ALONESeries: 500It’s easy to believe that Jesus is essential for salvation. You can love His teachings. You can admire the example He set with the good deeds He did. But if Jesus is just essential, then there is more that needs to be done. There is something you have to do to ensure that you are right with God. The good news, however, is that Jesus isn’t just essential, He is sufficient for salvation. Because of Jesus nothing more can be done or needs to be done.

Nov 5, 2017Faith ALONESeries: 500Christians say that we are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, but then we easily get off track. We put all kinds of false metrics on faith, thinking we have to achieve some high score for it to count, but faith isn’t quantified like that. Faith is about the object -Jesus. As Christians, we have imperfect faith, but it’s placed in a perfect Jesus . . . and that is enough.

Oct 29, 2017Grace ALONEBy: Jim FeirtagSeries: 500Jesus provided the solution for sin at the cost of His life. So we don’t have to be afraid of death, hell and God’s judgment anymore. And He did that for us free of charge. God LOVES us through grace! God SAVES us by grace! God KEEPS us in grace! It’s ONLY and ALL by grace with God!

In this message we unpack the reality that living STRONG means finishing STRONG.

Oct 15, 2017STRONG ServiceBy: Jim FeirtagSeries: StrongLots of people serve others, but the motivation and the heart of service is different for a Christian. Christians don’t serve to get right with God or to get God in their debt. They don’t serve to be thanked by others, to solve the world’s problems or even to make themselves feel good. A Christian who has exchanged their weakness for Jesus’ strength serves others in Jesus’ name to bring glory to God. That is their greatest joy!

Oct 8, 2017STRONG TrainingBy: Jim FeirtagSeries: StrongIt’s true that God cares more about our character than He does our happiness. However, the most critical way that our character is formed in Christ is to find our ultimate joy in God and the things of God. And when you find it, you fight for it. That is why we train ourselves in godliness.
