Our KiX Children’s Ministry strives to partner with families in helping kids create a solid faith foundation as they discover how to love God, love people, and love now.

Current Programming Options

NURSERY MINISTRY
  • SUNDAYS: Our nursery (infants – 23 months) is staffed both services with loving, screened volunteers who consider a privilege to care for your child.
TODDLERS & PRESCHOOL MINISTRY
  • SUNDAYS: Our Toddlers & Preschool classroom (age 2 – PreK) gathers both service hours for hands-on, interactive Bible learning. (Room 2 at 9 a.m.; Room 1 at 10:45 a.m.)

ELEMENTARY MINISTRY
  • SUNDAYS: During the 9 a.m. service, elementary children attend a full-hour class where they dive into God’s Word and apply it to their lives. At 10:45 a.m., kiddos are dismissed midway through the worship service for KiX Worship, a dynamic Bible experience.
  • WEDNESDAYS: Kids gather at 7 p.m. for Club KiX, a fun hour of Bible learning, games, and more!

Health & Safety Precautions

Our KiX Ministry Team is committed to balancing our desire to provide quality, fun, meaningful experiences for our kids with the precautions necessary to continue offering weekly children’s ministry programs. Here are some of the precautions we take:
  • CLEAN CLASSROOMS: Our classrooms are frequently cleaned and disinfected.
  • INDIVIDUAL SUPPLIES: Each child is given their own box of school supplies to use each week. Guest supply boxes are thoroughly disinfected after each use.
  • LIMITED CLASSROOM ACCESS: Only screened, scheduled workers and checked-in kids are permitted in our classrooms. Drop-off and pick-up takes place outside the main classrooms.

Wellness Policy

In order for us to keep KiX Ministry up and running on-site, we ask that anyone (staff or child) experiencing one or more of the following symptoms within the past 48 hours not participate: green/yellow runny nose, sore throat or swollen glands, cough or congestion, fever of 100 degrees or higher, chills, vomiting or diarrhea, shortness of breath. If a child attends programming and we become aware of one of the aforementioned symptoms, you will be immediately notified to come pick him/her up. Thanks in advance for helping us keep our kids, leaders, and families well.

Check-In Procedure

Every child attending KiX programming is required to check-in at our station in the main lobby on Sunday mornings or at the KiX Building on Wednesday nights. A volunteer will be present and ready to help you with the check-in process. Children wear a name badge with a unique numeric code that varies weekly while their parent/guardian is presented with a pick-up ticket containing that same code.
