Let Go, and Jump!
Series: When You Least Expect It
Following God means we trust Him enough to jump into the unknown. We let go of fear and doubt, we let go of what’s comfortable, we let go of a guaranteed outcome that works in our favor and jump. We can’t jump half way; we can’t jump while holding on; we have to let go of everything and trust God with everything.

Dec 22, 2019PEACE When You Least Expect ItBy: Jim FeirtagSeries: When You Least Expect ItGod's peace is not a natural achievement, but a supernatural gift. It is not the absence of fear, but the sense of having my soul firmly in God’s hands. It is not an escape from reality, but living by God’s power lifting me over and through the realities of life. It is an inner calm and equilibrium no matter the circumstances of life.

That means it’s all based on a combination of circumstances and good luck. Scripture says hope is the desire for God’s goodness and will for my future and the expectation that He will fulfill it. That means it’s all based on the character and promises of God. Hope believes in God's eternal YES when our present circumstances say NO.
