the gods of power
Series: gods at War
IDOLS_series_lrg

Money is AMORAL. It’s not good or bad. But it can be the greatest God substitute in our lives. How we use our money shows materially where we are spiritually. Every DOLLAR you receive is both a BLESSING and a TEST from God.

The longing of every human heart is to be FULLY KNOWN and TRULY LOVED! Love is a gift from God. But we have twisted it into something it wasn’t intended to be. We made love an idol and dysfunction, rejection, and broken hearts have been the result. There is only one way to turn this around for us and for those close to us. We have to find love from the source of Jesus. Only in Him can we be FULLY KNOWN and TRULY LOVED! Only in Him can we grow to love others and we should!

We all thirst. God made us that way. What are you thirsting for? Our thirsts drive our life. Is it a mirage or an oasis? The gods of Pleasure are simply a mirage that never satisfies. But the oasis of Jesus is our true portion, satisfaction and passion..

In this message we see how Christians can bridge this divide by being the most radically loving, accepting, inclusive and truth-filled group of people ever in history!

When most people go through times of suffering, sickness, sin or even joy they usually turn inward. They think that will help, but it never does. God’s people go through the same things, but they take a different approach. Instead of turning inward, they experience the blessings and benefits of turning upward.

We Christian do not always do unity and harmony well. Sometimes fighting, bitterness, and holding grudges replace love, honor, and forgiveness. But that’s not the way things should be. That’s not the way of Christ.

In this message, Pastor Kenneth shows us how we can live in harmony by being united in our commitment to Christ (what we love), in our convictions about Christ (what we believe) and in the cause for Christ (what we do).

    A Selfie Mentality = Self-Worship.
And Self-Worship always produces self-destructive pride. The only antidote is true worship which produces the fruit of loving devotion and honor.

It’s the way to peace and right relationship with God and harmony and reconciliation with others.
